Update 0021

July 14th, 2008

Hi everone. This is the Joker interviewing the Mystery Artist for the JAB comic sensation The Wrong House.

Joker: So tell us about the comic. How did it all start?

Mystery Artist: The Wrong House was a brief 10-page story created by JAB and Raven. It involved this girl who mistakens a frat house for a party she was going to. She ends up getting drugged and fucked by three of the guys inside the house. That’s basically the story. I loved the story so much, I pitched an idea of making the title into a 10 issue mini series. The rest is history.

Joker: That’s great. How is Wrong House different from the other titles?
Mystery Artist: Well the style is the first thing you’ll notice is different. Most people have told us they love character developement and a little tease. We’re not doing that. This is a fast paced comic. 10 issues. 10 pages. No cover. Lots of girls, drugs, alcohol, and sex. Lots of scenarios and situation. We love all the other titles and are big fans of them, so expect some little homages to a few of those titles in this series.

Joker: How hard is it to work on the titles?
Mystery Artist: Pretty hard. The hardest part is trying to put everything you want into 10 pages. Working with JAB, we’ve come up with alot of crazy things, but the reality is that the members won’t tolerate the issue being larger than 10 pages. So there’s alot of editing and scene removals involved. JAB has written a very solid story and our art team takes this job very seriously when it comes to deadlines and what not. We’ve been green-lighted to do the series up to issue 5, then we’ll see how well the title fairs with the members. It looks kinda half and half. Some people adore the story while others are not as fond of it. I understand that this comic isn’t for everyone, so hopefully those who do love it continue to enjoy it as we move along.

Joker: Any last thoughts?
Mystery Artist: Sleep. Lots of it.
